What is the difference between franchising and licensing?

ANSWER:
Licensing is similar to franchising without having a full control of the individual entrepreneur. In our concept of licensing, the licensee owns the premises, the license/s issued by Health Canada and all equipment that comes with the Turn Key Operation; please see below, Turn Key Operation, (TKO).

What is a Turn Key Operation?

ANSWER:
In a land area approved for cannabis cultivation, a space of 7400 square feet is required.  The Turn Key Operation includes a commercial building constructed according to Health Canada protocols for micro-outdoor grow operations, adhering to all building codes. These buildings will have many different rooms, and each room is dedicated to a certain activity to complete a finished cannabis product, ready for shipping to wholesalers in bulk. This will also include a security steel fence, steel gate, indoor storage cage, security system, HVAC system, and air purification system. Under micro cultivation, you can cultivate an area of up to 2150 square feet and produce up to 600 kg of dry cannabis. The cultivation canopy is inside the 3-season greenhouse. Included in the Turn Key Operation is a complete cultivation application submission to Health Canada on behalf of the licensee.

In a land area approved for cannabis processing operation, a commercial building is required to conduct all the processing operations indoors.  The Turn Key Operation includes a commercial building constructed according to Health Canada protocols for micro-processing operations, adhering to all building codes. These buildings will have many different rooms, and each room is dedicated to a certain activity to complete a finished cannabis product, ready for shipping to distributors/retailers. This will also include a  security system, HVAC system, and air purification system. Under micro processing, you can process and produce up to 600 kg of finished packaged and labeled product. Included in the Turn Key Operation is a complete micro processing application submission to Health Canada on behalf of the licensee.

Does the licensee own it all?

ANSWER:
Yes, he/she owns the total Turn Key Operation including the building, all its contents and the micro license/s issued by Health Canada etc.

Who is qualified to own a micro cannabis/processing or both cannabis operations?

ANSWER:
Any person over the age of 19 with a clean record, including passing a criminal and CRA record check. Any individual that has the business acumen, and who is eager to learn and embrace hard work is an ideal fit; you could be a farmer or business man/woman! These individuals may be qualified to enter the cannabis micro cultivation business at a very low cost. This opportunity has an outstanding return on investment.

A legal company with dormant or active shareholders can obtain a licensed micro grow operation, provided the active person is qualified, please see above.

What is the difference between an indoor vs. outdoor cannabis product?

ANSWER:
There is no difference, what grows indoors, grows outdoors. Outdoor cannabis plants grow naturally, the same way they did when they were discovered in 440 BC. The indoor cannabis grows based on the manufactured environment to imitate the outdoor environment. Either micro application is constrained up to 2150 square feet of canopy and up to 600 kg of dry cannabis/year.

What if I don’t know anything about cannabis?

ANSWER:
You don’t have to know how to grow and process cannabis,  we provide extensive full training and assistance to all our approved licensees.

Who will buy my product?

ANSWER:
Cann Grow Rich Inc. introduces you to the large network of legal buyers across the country. After performing laboratory testing on the product, the results will be presented to prospect legal buyers across Canada. Prices of cannabis products are determined by quality, supply vs demand and as importantly what is trending!

Can I have more than one licensed operation?

ANSWER:
Yes, you can!  Provided the second operation is in a different location/address.

What is the timeline to operate a licensed, cannabis micro grow operation?

ANSWER:

On average, our facilities are completely ready in an average of 4 months, plus the time for Health Canada to process the application. The application takes about 6 months to process, so a total of 12 months is very reasonable.

Do I need a large greenhouse?

ANSWER:
A large 3 season greenhouse is included in the Turn Key Operation of micro cultivation and micro cultivation/processing operations. It is used to better control cannabis growth during the growing season.

As a potential licensee, what do I need to provide to get a cannabis operation?

ANSWER:
Clean record, finance and  land! The land will have to be approved by the municipality or township to get a legal cannabis operation . The land can be owned, leased or rented and must also include water and electricity in order to use the site.

Do you provide financing?

ANSWER:
Financing may be provided by a third party.

If I don’t have land, can you provide land for a cannabis operation?

ANSWER:
We have listed a number of real estate agents to work with us across Ontario, so if a space comes up for lease or rent where cannabis operations are permitted, we will definitely inform you!

How long is the license agreement?

ANSWER:
License term is 10 years and can be automatically renewed for an additional 10 year term. Please contact us for additional information.
